2011 Regina Brown Undergraduate Student Fellowships



IMPORTANT APPLICATION information

ELIGIBILITY:  In order to be considered for a Regina Brown Undergraduate Student Fellowship, eligible persons must be full-time undergraduate students at the time of the deadline AND a current NCECA Member. NCECA Membership fees are not included in any event registration. Membership is a standalone annual fee. CLICK HERE to apply for or renew your membership.

HOW TO APPLY:

The following items need to be attached to a single e-mail to kate@nceca.net
1.  Completed Application form
2.  Proposed research project description
3. Transcripts (official/unofficial-most current)
4.  Image List corresponding to the images submitted on the CD; include the following information for each image: Student Name, Title, Date, Clay type, Firing method, Dimensions (H, W, D)

5.  Two (2) Letters of Recommendation, e-mailed from the recommenders to kate@nceca.net             
 One from a current instructor and one from another instructor or professional ceramist.

6.  CD with exactly 10 images to be mailed to the Review Committee. (Address provided below)             
* Images must be in jpg format and should be between 1400 pixels at the shortest and 2000 pixels at the longest dimension.

Provide a description of your proposed research project.   The project must be supportive of
your goals as a ceramic artist.  There are no length requirements for the proposal, but it must
clearly state your objectives and how the award will be used to fulfill those objectives.  Awards
may not be used for tuition.   (Attach to the e-mail to kate@nceca.net)

Submitting an application form constitutes an agreement to submit current transcripts from your institution of higher education.  Nominations submitted without transcripts will be considered incomplete.
