I am an artist, a student, and a technician. I came to Humboldt State University to study environmental science and geology, but will now graduate with a degree in Studio Art and a minor in Art History. I have worked as a teacher’s assistant and as a lab technician and greatly value these experiences. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, but began my study of ceramics at City College of San Francisco, where I also worked as a lab technician. I look forward to showing my work and attending grad school. Houston was my fourth conference, but I still found the event as overwhelming and inspirational as my first. I have served on the Green Task Force as a volunteer, Student Representative, and Secretary. I cannot express how excited I am to bring the voice of the students to the board of directors, and to provide additional resources to students.
