Lee Burningham is a thirty year veteran pottery teacher in the Utah public school systems. Lee has been the art department head in multiple schools, the former Co-President and 3-D art specialist for the Utah Art Education Association, a founding member and Vice President of the National K-12 Ceramics Exhibition Foundation, a Charter Member of the Potter's Council, and practicing potter for the last 42 years. His community service includes past President and current board member of the Dean and Bessie Petersen Arts Foundation in northern Utah. In his spare time, Lee is the owner and CEO of Burningham Builders and Drywall, and the director of the Clay Crewe. Lee may usually be found at the annual NCECA conference trailing a herd of high school students that are participating in the conference and the concurrent National K12 Ceramics Exhibition.
