Fellow of the Council

Fellows are individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts. NCECA was founded and developed by these forward-thinking ceramic artists. In the 1970s the conference grew from a get-together to a small gathering of a few hundred potters. In the 1980s it graduated to over 1000, and today we have over 4000 ceramic artists who attend the annual NCECA conference. They shall be members in good standing and shall have served the Council in significant ways for at least five years. No more than two Fellows shall be elected in any one year. No Board Member is eligible for election to Fellow while serving on the Board.
