NCECA 2008,
42nd Annual Conference
CONFLUENCE:
Innovation, Community, Environment
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
David L Lawrence Convention Center
1000 Fort Duquesne Boulevard
March 19-22, 2008

The geography and history of the Pittsburgh region
are shaped and encapsulated in the confluence of its rivers.
A catalytic mixture of action, reflection and invention arise
from its people, ideas and institutions to influence the region's
evolution. Growing out of its industrial past is a new incarnation
of urban context in which the arts, culture, education, community
development, and environmental resources interact to improve
the quality of life for local and global citizens.
