NCECA would like to hear from members attending the NCECA 2008 conference who are interested in participating as a group leader. The group leaders are needed for Topical Discussions or the NCECA Connections.
DEADLINE was December 7, 2007.
This is an opportunity to lead a breakout session in an area of which you have a common interest. This is also a time to lead your group to network and share information.
Topical Discussions
The Topical Discussions format is designed for individual members with common interests and ideas to participate in informal group discussions. Topics are up to the leader. Ideas and information are for discussion in a roundtable format.
NCECA Connections
The NCECA Connections relates to groups wishing to share
information. As a group leader, you would introduce the topics or groups and initiate the discussion. Group leaders moderate the ongoing discussion and allow everyone a chance for participation. No honorarium or other compensation is given for services. These sessions are very popular and generate a large amount of interest.
